Our Story

Wasted Days was purchased by the Ulm family in 2008 and carefully curated as a private retreat for family gatherings, vacations, and holiday events. Since completing the estimated ten million dollars of facility and grounds development work necessary to create our southern wonderland, multiple generations of the family have poured over a decade of happy memories into the property. Now they have decided to allow others to enjoy the magic of Wasted Days with their own loved ones, friends, and associates.

Construction of Wasted Days was handled with a very personal level of involvement from the owners. From the warm wood tones used for the interior of each lodging facility to the field stone sourced on property for creation of accents throughout the grounds, every minor detail has been carefully hand selected. Maintenance of the property is still fully managed and operated by trusted staff members of the Ulm family’s active businesses to this day. These personal touches are what we feel make Wasted Days a unique lodging and event venue within Putnam County and all of southern Georgia.

It is the discreet mission of our ownership and staff to pass on the wonderful peace and beauty of Wasted Days for the enjoyment of others. The property is truly a unique setting for creating special memories without any unwanted distractions, and we hope your experience is every bit as positive as our own.
